Instructions

  1. Prepare the Crust
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl until well combined.
    • Press the mixture firmly into a 9-inch pie pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly.
    • Bake for 8–10 minutes. Let cool completely.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Layer
    • In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
    • Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
    • Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the cooled crust.
  3. Prepare the Apple Layer
    • Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add apple slices, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
    • Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until apples are tender but not mushy.
    • Arrange the apples evenly over the cheesecake layer.
  4. Bake the Pie
    • Bake the assembled pie for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheesecake layer is set.
    • Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
