Ingredients
- 1 pint fresh strawberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- Optional toppings: melted chocolate, crushed nuts, or sprinkles
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries:
- Wash the strawberries under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Hull the strawberries by cutting off the green stems and creating a small hollow in the center without cutting through the bottom.
- Make the Cheesecake Filling:
- In a medium-sized bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Continue mixing until the filling is well combined and fluffy.
- Fill the Strawberries:
- Transfer the cheesecake mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip for a decorative touch. Alternatively, use a small spoon to fill the strawberries.
- Pipe or spoon the filling into the hollowed strawberries, allowing the filling to slightly overflow.
- Add Graham Cracker Crumbs:
- Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the tops of the filled strawberries to add texture and enhance the cheesecake flavor.
- Optional Toppings:
- Drizzle the strawberries with melted chocolate, or sprinkle with crushed nuts or colorful sprinkles for added flair.
- Chill and Serve:
- Arrange the strawberries on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the filling. Serve chilled.
Notes
- Use fresh, firm strawberries for the best results.
