Description

Elegant, easy, and irresistibly delicious, Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries combine the fresh sweetness of strawberries with a creamy cheesecake filling. Perfect for parties, potlucks, or an indulgent treat at home, they’re sure to impress!

Ingredients

  • 1 pint fresh strawberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • Optional toppings: melted chocolate, crushed nuts, or sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Strawberries:
    • Wash the strawberries under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
    • Hull the strawberries by cutting off the green stems and creating a small hollow in the center without cutting through the bottom.
  2. Make the Cheesecake Filling:
    • In a medium-sized bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
    • Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Continue mixing until the filling is well combined and fluffy.
  3. Fill the Strawberries:
    • Transfer the cheesecake mixture to a piping bag fitted with a star tip for a decorative touch. Alternatively, use a small spoon to fill the strawberries.
    • Pipe or spoon the filling into the hollowed strawberries, allowing the filling to slightly overflow.
  4. Add Graham Cracker Crumbs:
    • Sprinkle graham cracker crumbs over the tops of the filled strawberries to add texture and enhance the cheesecake flavor.
  5. Optional Toppings:
    • Drizzle the strawberries with melted chocolate, or sprinkle with crushed nuts or colorful sprinkles for added flair.
  6. Chill and Serve:
    • Arrange the strawberries on a serving platter and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set the filling. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • Use fresh, firm strawberries for the best results.
  • Adjust the sweetness of the filling by adding more or less powdered sugar.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two days.
