Ingredients

  • 2 tubes crescent dough sheets
  • 1 lb deli-sliced ham
  • 8 cheddar cheese sticks
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tbsp dried minced onion or onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions

Prepare the Oven and Baking Sheet

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

2. Roll Out the Dough

  • Open the crescent dough sheets and lay them flat on a clean surface.
  • Cut each sheet into four rectangles, creating a total of eight dough pieces.

3. Assemble the Roll-Ups

  • Place a slice of ham on each dough rectangle.
  • Add a cheddar cheese stick on top of the ham.
  • Fold in the edges of the dough and roll tightly to seal.

4. Arrange on the Baking Sheet

  • Place the roll-ups seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each.

5. Make the Glaze

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, minced onion, and poppy seeds.
  • Stir well to create a flavorful glaze.

6. Brush with Glaze

  • Generously brush each roll-up with the glaze, ensuring full coverage for maximum flavor.

7. Bake to Perfection

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

8. Serve and Enjoy

  • Allow the roll-ups to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy them warm for the best experience!

Notes

  • Seal the edges tightly to prevent cheese from oozing out during baking.
  • Experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella, Swiss, or pepper jack for variety.
  • These roll-ups taste great on their own but pair wonderfully with dipping sauces like honey mustard or marinara.
