Ingredients

- 4–5 cups (375 g) short pasta (macaroni, penne, or rotini)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 3 cups shredded cheese (divided)
- 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
- 10–15 pepperoni slices
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Use an oven-safe pot or dutch oven for cooking and baking.
- Cook the Pasta:
- Add the pasta, chicken broth, milk, salt, garlic powder, and oregano to the pot.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce to a simmer.
- Stir occasionally and cook for 10–12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente.
- Add Cheese:
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheese until fully melted and creamy.
- Assemble the Dish:
- Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the pasta mixture.
- Sprinkle the remaining 1 1/2 cups of cheese over the top.
- Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
- Bake and Broil:
- Bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes, or until the sauce is bubbly and the cheese is melted.
- Broil for 1–2 minutes to crisp the pepperoni and slightly brown the cheese.
- Serve and Enjoy:
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
