  • Salt: 1 tsp
  • Whole milk: 1 cup, warmed
  • Granulated sugar: ½ cup
  • Unsalted butter: ¼ cup, room temperature
  • Large egg: 1, room temperature
  • Crushed Oreos: ½ cup

Filling

  • Light brown sugar: ½ cup
  • Black cocoa powder: 2 tbsp
  • Ground cinnamon: 1 tsp
  • Unsalted butter: ¼ cup, softened
  • Crushed Oreos: ½ cup

Vanilla Glaze

  • Unsalted butter: 1 tbsp, room temperature
  • Powdered sugar: 1½ cups
  • Whole milk: 2 tbsp
  • Vanilla extract: 1 tsp

Instructions

1. Make the Dough:

  • In a large bowl, mix flour, yeast, and salt.
  • Warm milk, sugar, and butter in a microwave. Gradually add to dry ingredients.
  • Add egg and mix until a sticky dough forms. Slowly add more flour until dough is tacky.
  • Mix in crushed Oreos and let the dough rest for 10 minutes.

2. Prepare the Filling:

  • Combine brown sugar, black cocoa, and cinnamon.

3. Roll Out the Dough:

  • Roll dough into a 12×18-inch rectangle. Spread butter, sprinkle filling, and top with crushed Oreos.

4. Shape and Cut:

  • Roll dough tightly into a log. Use dental floss to slice into 9 equal rolls.

5. Proof and Bake:

  • Arrange rolls in a greased 8×8-inch pan. Let rise for 30 minutes.
