Instructions
- Prepare the Cake Base
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch sheet pan.
- In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Cut in the cubed butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Whisk together the egg, milk, and vanilla extract in another bowl. Gradually add to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the sliced strawberries and pour the batter into the prepared pan.
