- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp honey
- Flaky sea salt (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Eggs
- Whisk the Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, ½ cup cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the Eggs: Heat 2 tablespoons of butter in a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until eggs are just set. Remove from heat.
Step 2: Assemble the Sliders
- Slice the Rolls: Use a serrated knife to slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally as a whole unit, keeping the top half attached.
- Layer the Ingredients:
- Spread 1 cup cheddar cheese on the bottom layer of the rolls.
- Add the scrambled eggs evenly over the cheese layer.
- Sprinkle another cup of cheddar cheese on top of the eggs.
- Place the top half of the rolls back on.
Step 3: Add the Honey Butter Topping
- Mix the Topping: Melt 1 tablespoon butter in a small ramekin and stir in the honey.
- Brush the Rolls: Generously brush the honey butter mixture over the tops of the rolls. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired.
Step 4: Bake the Sliders
- Preheat the Oven: Heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Bake: Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
