Ingredients

  • 1 pound elbow macaroni

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 large eggs

  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook the Pasta
    • Boil a pot of salted water and cook macaroni until al dente (about 7-8 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  • Prepare Cheese Sauce
    • Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
    • Add cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth.

  • Combine and Assemble
